VTS Grows UK Team with Six New Appointments

Seb Abigail returns to VTS as Global Solutions Lead, along with new appointments including senior research hires

London  — 5 August 2021 VTS, the commercial real estate industry’s leading leasing, marketing, and asset management technology platform, is announcing a significant expansion to its UK team, with six new appointments this summer following rapid momentum over the past year, and a further half a dozen additional open roles.

The new hires include the appointment of workplace expert Sebastian Abigail as a Principal, who rejoins VTS having spent four years at the company until 2019. Sebastian arrives from premium workplace and meetings venue operator Convene, where as Vice President for Business Development he collaborated with leading landlords and blue-chip occupiers on amenity-rich flexible workplace solutions. 

At VTS, Sebastian will lead the European roll-out of VTS Rise, now the world’s leading tenant engagement platform that enables landlords to curate the best possible environment for work and provides real-time, data-driven insights on how tenants are utilising space and amenities. VTS Rise formally launched to market in July 2021 following the VTS acquisition of Rise Buildings and as part of the VTS family the first 100 days post merger has seen the technology quickly be adopted across 300 million sq ft of commercial real estate in 161 cities.

VTS has also appointed Kuldeep Gadhary as Senior Research Analyst to expand its data offer and deliver forward-looking market analysis for clients. Focusing initially on London and supporting the strong client base, Kuldeep will lead VTS’ UK research practice and has over 15 years’ experience in the real estate sector, joining from BNP Paribas Real Estate where she was Senior Associate Director, having previously worked as a research analyst at both Savills and CoStar Group.

VTS’ new appointments also include:  

  • Judy Elvey as Marketing Lead, EMEA
  • Elizabeth Atkins as CRE Data Analyst 
  • Daisy Frances Munro as Client Advisor, UK 
  • Serenella Bardeggia as Lead UX Researcher

VTS has experienced rapid growth and momentum since the beginning of 2020 expanding its global headcount by more than 30% and its 750+ client roster to include international players like Tishman, Oxford, Starwood, Brookfield, CBRE GI, Blackstone, Barings, Goldman Sachs and GLP, to name a few. Since the company’s inception, leases with a cumulative value of over $85bn have been executed on the platform across 44 countries. 

VTS has also expanded its office space at 58-59 Great Marlborough St, London, to ensure there is best-in-class collaborative workspace for the growing team. Its landlord LM Stern was also the first UK landlord to sign up to the full VTS platform including VTS Rise and VTS Market in the UK.
